Accommodation
You may stay at the family-run Nan Myint San Guest House in Kyeintali. Accommodation is simple but clean and comfortable. All rooms are equipped with a fan and a mosquito net. One room has an ensuite washroom with a western toilet and cold shower; the others share a washroom with squat toilet and cold shower.
Getting Here
There are two main options for getting to Kyeintali:
Option 1: Bus from Yangon – the longer but more adventurous route. Catch the morning air-conditioned bus from the Aung Mingalar Highway Terminal bus station north of Yangon. You’ll have beautiful views of plains, mountains and the ocean in Taninthayi Division, Irrawaddy Division and Rakhine State.
Cost: approximately $13.00/pp. May fluctuate depending on the season. 
Option 2: Bus from Ngapali/Thandwe. If you are already visiting Ngapali Beach or Thandwe it is very simple to catch a bus to Kyeintali, just 40km south of those destinations. Several air-conditioned buses leave every day for Kyeintali and on to Yangon from the bus station near Thandwe Market.
Cost: approximately $5.00/pp, but may fluctuate depending on the season.
Option 3 or the most adventurous only, pickup truck from Thandwe. Ride in the cab or in the back on packed wooden benches.
Cost: approximately $2.00-3.00/pp
